若干の汚れや剥がれがありますが問題なく着用していただけます。

1970年代にイギリス軍が使用していたゴム引きコート、
製造元はGlyn Protective Clothing Ltd社の非常に珍しいコート。

マッキントッシュは、1840年代から存在する歴史ある英国ブランドの一つです。
もちろんシビリアン（民間）への販売もしていましたが、
イギリスのガバメント（政府機関）に対してもコート・ジャケットの提供をしており、
イギリス軍、警察、British Railways（英国鉄道）などでも使われております。

今回出てきた、こちらのゴム引きのコートも1970年にイギリス軍で採用されいた、
非常に珍しい一着です。

脇に開けられたベンチレーションのための５つのアイレットは、
実用性以外にも、マッキントッシュクロス製品ということを示すアイコンとしての
格別の存在感があります。

Macintoshは元々はスコットランドに多い姓で、
マッキントッシュクロスの発明者の名前ですが、
ラベルに書かれているMACINTOSHESの表すものは製造会社やブランドの表示ではなく、
マッキントッシュクロスで作られたもの全般を表す言葉となって、
以来英国ではレインコートからステンカラータイプのコート全般を
MACと呼ぶ略称の語源となりました。

ミリタリーらしさ感じさせないシャープなシルエットラインは、
ジャンルを選ばず様々なスタイリングに合わせて頂けます。
